There is one on each side of the carrier. You're going to have pull the axles and tubes off to get to these. They are not like the later models, no oil should be in the tubes, there's grease fittings in the ends of the tubes to lube bushings that you also will probably want to replace when you have tubes off. Any movement at the end of the axle may make your new seals leak, and check out your axles too because they tend to get worn out in the bushing area. I hade to pull my carrier out of one so I needed the orings that went on each side of the carrier plates but it's not necessary to do those unless you pull them. Here are te part numbers that I used, all sourced locally from bearing/seal shop because I didn't want to pay the CC prices. Hope this helps

Seals SKF 10049 (2)

Axle tube bushings SS-3236-16 (2)

These were the closest I could get, had to modify them some but very worth it compared to how much OE was

O rings come in 10 pack
Part number 01235

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
