Indeed it would i sent him an email as he doesn't list a number i would prob give him 2500 for that machine if he had all the maintenance receipts.
I hit the guy with the 1512 at 1000 as he doesn't have any real info on the machine and i am sure the machine is going to need some work. |

I love my 1782. would be really hard to talk me into selling it. I like the gas ones too, but I looked a long time to get a diesel one, and will prob buy another if I run across another deal when I'm not broke! Would love to have a metal hood diesel but still wouldn't get rid of this one to get one.

Incase someone hasn't mentioned the obvious yet, I suggest you get one of each. Start with an Original, then a 70, a 100 and.... Well you get the idea.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
