Hood fit on my Quietline 1200
Just got a new 1200 yesterday. It runs and looks pretty darn good except the hood fit. It seems to come up short on fit to the dash panel. I tried to move it back but ran out of slot room on the 4 mounting bolts. I tried moving the dash panel, but only limited success. Seems one side is up off the frame when the bolts are lose and the hood is hand fitted.....till the bolts are torqued.
What do you experts recommend to get the hood to fit better? It was banging and making a horrible racket, sounded like it was a sick diesel hiding under it! thanks

Can you get us a picture? Should be plenty of adjustment to get the right gap.

Once you get it fit better you can add some of this vinyl door edge to the back edge of the hood to reduce some of the rattle;

You should be able to adjust your nose piece as well to slide back a little where the nose connects to the grill base. That should do it for you.
