Default 1541 Mower - What other models are similar

I have a 1541 mower with a 50" deck and have been searching for another one to use as a parts machine. (either for the frame and cowl, or for the mechanical workings) Unfortunately I haven't found any around in my area of Southern Ontario.

What other model numbers are out there that would have parts which match my 1541. I saw a 1641 that may have been suitable, but it sold before I had a chance to take a good look at it.

Thanks for any help,

First, welcome to OCC....

The 1541 was part of the 1990 - 1991 series tractors. Here is a list.

I'm mainly looking for the hood and the metal hood mounting bracket. I figured it'd be worth looking for a parts machine as there area bound to be other things go on the 25 year od machine. I actually just had to order in a new idler pully for the mower drive as the bearing had gone out on one of mine. Probably no too expensive a part, but I'm sitting here watching the grass grow while I wait for the part to come in.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
