Couple of 882D Questions
Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for an 882D? It looks like I'm going to need one!
Also, is there a part number or source that is recommended for the fan belt (Cub Cadet P/N 754-3022) on this engine? I have checked out the usual suppliers I use and it appears to be NLA. Maybe a cross-reference chart somewhere?  This is my first smoker restoration so I'm sure I'll have a bunch of questions for you guys. I do appreciate the help! Steve

what diagram you after and would it be roughly the same as a 1772 diesel? if so I have the manual. let me know

Not sure if they are the same. 1772's came out in 1989 and 882's were 1984. I hope someone can clarify the similarities?
I basically need diagrams for everything. This old gal was not taken care of at all! I will let you know when I figure it out though. Thanks! Steve

You'll likely want to replace the water pump while you're in there. Mine ran noticeably cooler after I did the job. The upper radiator hose is NLA. During your restoration, I suggest doing the starter and glow plug upgrades, as well as the add-on heavy gauge ground wire. These machines can get by just fine with a small tractor battery as long as you perform these upgrades.
