Default And then the fight started

A late-middle-aged couple, Fred and Ethyl, were touring the cattle barn at the state fair. They were passing the stalls containing the first, second, and third place bulls from the competition. Each had a plaque with the bull's statistics. Breed, name, lineage, etc. Included in the stats was how many times the bull had bred during the past year. At the third place bull's stall Ethyl read the plaque, then elbowed Fred in the ribs. "Did you see that Fred?! That bull had sex 36 times last year! You could learn from that bull Fred!" Fred replied,"Yes, yes, with a wave of his hand. At the second place bull's stall Ethyl again elbowed Fred. "Look at that Fred! That bull had sex 44 times last year! Look and learn, Fred!" Again a weary "Yes, yes" from Fred. At the first place bull's stall Ethyl gave Fred a very vigorous elbowing and said, Fred! That bull had sex 52 times last year! How about that, Fred? 52 times!" Exasperated, Fred replied, "Yes Ethyl, yes! But not with the same old cow!"

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
