This is the enemy .
He will try to outdo your cub cadet. He will try to say,"like a cub cadet",and you guys "oh mine jd does this or my jd does that",who cares ![]() But it is a 110 JD. Scrap yard find, came with a brass tag deck and brass tag snowthrower, wheel weights too!Hood and lights were toast, but the rears are the same as the 1x6 and 1x7 cub cadets Got it running, smokes a little, variator is froze up but I used it to cut grass and it was very quiet. turn away your young and impressionable children cause this is the part of the show I will post pictures............

Nice square fender Lew.
Cough cough did I just say that?? Shhhh!! I just passed on one because it was too roached. They also shared the k series too right? One I passed on had k181. I think years are 68 to 74? I did a little homework when I was going to get it but then said.....nah And Mr. Bond is right, rear rims on backwards, the enemy is trying to imitate a cub with valve stems on the outside, it must be destroyed!

Nice to hear you've joined the LGBT community with the JQ. When's the parade?
But seriously, that should net you a few bucks on the sell. |

Nice find Lew,
I would still have mine but no power steering and manual shift was too much for a bad shoulder and knee. Used it for 11 years and sold it for $300 more than I paid. Gotta love the appreciation factor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
