Chrome exhaust tube
Looking to add a little flair after a fresh repaint. I like to add a chrome exhaust tube coming out the front grille I've seen others have on their Cubs.
Don't know what size or where do get it from. Any ideas?

Take a tape measure, or similar device, over to your machine. Use it to measure the exhaust pipe it has currently. Write the measurements down so you don't forget them. Next, go to a muffler shop and explain to the guy that you need a piece of chrome pipe for your garden tractor. Show him the paper with the measurements. If they don't want to help you, go to an auto parts store. Repeat the process until you find the pipe you want/need.

Or you can go to a hardware store and buy a chrome sink drain pipe and get a muffler clamp and walla chrome exhaust tip.

I think you will find the drain pipe (trap) is made from thin wall copper .
don't think it will hold up because it is so thin. -----Just an opinion |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
