Changing fluids
I have never changed the oil or the rear end grease on my Original. I assume the engine uses plain old 30wt? What should I use for the rear? I haven't used ether one very much, but all the other things are done.

IH originally specified Hy-tran or SAE 30 engine oil..
In this part of the country where it seldom drops into the 30's and before I knew what they specified I ran 90 wt in my gear drives with no problems.
