125 created a hydro leak
Well lovely days in east of Cleveland Ohio. 30" of snow. I worked the crap out of my 125. I now have a little dripping action goin on. Not enough to rip it I apart because more snow is on the way. In two tanks of gas I had to add a half of a quart of hydro oil.

Not to be a smart arse, but that is like calling your Dr, and telling him yer sick.
Then asking him what might be your problem. Look under it, find out where it is leaking from, leaking that much it should be quite obvious. |

Like did you run into something and bust the seal/put a hole in the suction tube? That's about the only thing I can think of that would leak that much fluid.

That doctor comment was good. I was so impressed with the single stage snow thrower. Granted it only through the wet heavy snow 10'. It was better than me shoveling. As for the leak I believe it is leaking above the hydro filter. In order to see higher I may have to split the tractor. South Russel is real close hey neighbor. Did you get hammered to. I guess kirtland got the most.

Suggest wiping everything as clean as possible, spray with brake cleaner (outside with cardboard under the tractor), then dust with baby powder. Start it and look for the baby powder turning pink from the Hytran. Take some pictures. We will be glad to help.

Yes it's cold and crappy today. And I will take those recommendations. Thank you. I have to run to the auto parts store today to buy a new battery. I was using my free halogen lights last Saturday and killed the battery beyond taking a charge. So the project for today is replacing those lights with LED. My brother gave me 2 of those last night. They shouldn't drain the battery like the halogens. Always something

Willoughby Hills Ohio checking in here - we received about 18 inches of snow. Wish I had a blower; only have a plow and running out of places to push the snow already!!!
My parents over in the Kirtland/Concord area did get hammered, but my Dad was able to easily clear my parent's property using his trust old school Ariens blower. |

My sg took a crap. Thank god for extra parts. Added my led lights. Worked perfect. Added some hydro fluid ha. Yes snowblowers are nice. But sometimes you need a plow. That's why I have 2 cubs

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
