1650 hydro problem
Well I bet this has been asked a thousand times, but I'm wondering why my 1650 has a delayed response to movement on the hydro lever forward or backward, and when out fully forward or fully backward it gradually works at getting up to speed, but I guess what I'm saying is the hydro is a bit hard to control, whereas my 123 has instant response to the slightest movement of the lever. Any advice appreciated!

I'll give you the standard answer, check the springs on the trunnion, change the fluid and filter.
