Kicking around making a push-blade
Not a lot of opportunity's to get one here in middle Oklahoma, I'm thinking about making one. Any tips or direction would be great. There are some years a snow plow would make a lot of money..most other years not so much. SO I am intrested in building a snow blade that i can convert into a front end loader.. any ideas or pictures would be great.

Unless you just want a "project" or have the fabrication skills and equipment to manufacture a blade and it's related components, you will more than likely be money (and time) ahead to buy a blade and have it shipped through Fastenal to a store near you.
If you want to build a front end loader, contact "PF Engineering" and buy a set of plans. They already have it all figured out and the plans will tell you everything you need to know for such an undertaking.

If you want a loader, build that and put a blade on it. Building a blade then later trying to "convert" it to a loader is like building a motorcycle then later "converting" it into a truck. Not gonna work.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
