Looks fantastic! Tell your worker that the "glass" paint finish is awesome due to her prep!

Looks great! I am having trouble getting the correct white for my 149. I have had some mixed at my local paint shop by the numbers supplied as the correct mix. It ended up just too bright white. Your Napa color looks better. What is the paint code you used?

I pulled the paint code directly from the chart posted here (somewhere...), a quick search will find it.
But not all mixes are exactly the same is my experience. I like to try to get enough to do the entire job in one batch. But this one spread out so long I went back for more. |

Put some more decals on. Working on the grill, etc.
Daughter that helped with the sanding gave it a thumbs up. Said we should drive it in the parade on the 4th. |

In the home stretch. The grill is getting a workover. Then I will decide if I want wire mesh behind it or not.
Also, I have some 'clearbra' material left over from some vehicles I did. Put it down in a few key places that like to scratch and wear off paint. Its looking pretty good. A worker and my primary snow removal machine, so its going to get some dings. I have an 1811 and a 149 sitting in the queue, so once this is completed will go onto one of those. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
