Thanks, I like this tractor it mows so true and is a blast to plow and mow with. I made sure to not hit the column I should've researched more where it should go to be correct but I'm not planning on getting rid of it so I wanted to put it where it was comfortable
It looks good where you put it. I know the instructions where the switch goes on my Original is hard to find when you are on the tractor.

I use the headlights a lot on my tractor when I am moving snow in the winter time, since it gets dark so early in the evening and stays dark until later in the morning. I am not for sure what your plans are for that cub, but in your geographical location, I would think that snow removal would be important and therefore, the headlights would be very useful. Now.......to get a Grote tail light to complete the set!!

Yes, lights are a must for snow duty for sure. I doubt I'll use this one for that purpose, have others designated for that, but I do need to get the grote light now I guess

Rick,
You always need lights on a tractor, holding a flashlight just don't cut it.
Is the 4 ring or 2 ring type headlight rings?

Yosemite Sam (Mark) sells a rear taillight that is a very close match to the Grote one and at a very reasonable price!!! Just bolt up and wire up and you are good to go. Already painted Confederate yellow and all!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
