Default Cub pics from your childhood.

Thought it would be cool to share any pics you may have of you on a cub as a kid, here's one of me on a 100 that may or may not be my grandfather's.

I'll play.... but I'm going to show my age...

My dad holding me on the 107 he inherited from his granddad:

I'm going to say this was taken the following year.
Dad pulling me around in a cart that my mom's dad made (so dad could pull me around, lol) with his brand spanking new (and very dirty) 782!
As a really funny note, the cart originally had carpet in the bottom with a higher "seat" in the back for me to sit on. Canopy and all! It was pretty cool. I still have the cart, but I don't know if the canopy still exits. Dad did still have it.

On another quick note, dad kept the 782 for about 20 years. We don't recall how many times the hour meter went around, but we overhauled the original motor in it once, then when it went again, dad put in a brand new Mag 18. Still ran great when he traded it for an 1864 (used). He still has the 1864.

Just because it's so uncanny how close my dad and I are in appearance, here's me and my daughter several years ago. Sorry about me not having a shirt on.... it's the only pic I could find.

Here is me with my 70 and my dad's 100. We were getting ready to go to our local garden tractor pull. I still have my 70 but dad's 100 is gone. Wish I still had it. The last picture is me and my granddaughter. She loves grandpa's tractors.

Here's me at age 2 on my 72, and my daughter at age 2 on the same 72. My wife gave me this framed picture for Father's Day 2 years ago.

My parents put me on Dad's 125 and used it as a babysitter. I am told I'd sit there and not do anything while dad worked outdoors, etc.

Since then.......

Dad still has the 125, and mows with it weekly.

Cat and Dog are gone.

The red truck (GMC S15) was my first truck I traded in in 2002.

The junk behind the dog is the neighbors stuff. Different neighbor, different junk.

The Farmall H is still used for moving snow in the winter.

The rather large barn on the horizon sadly caught on fire years ago. The grain bins still exist.

Those are nice looking tires dad had on the 107. Also...I hope the engine isn't running in that pic, cause the PTO is engaged! Maybe he wasn't using the mower deck at the time.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
