Default 1641 Rotted out Deck

Ok, I bet you guys never heard of one of these decks rotting to crap...ha. I just welded up some of the holes so that it could limp through another season, just to find out my bearings are shot on the spindles. I'm in search of another deck and wondered what my choices could be. Currently I have the 190-318 44" deck. On Craigslist, I saw a 44C that from the pics looks almost the same but I have no clue if it would fit. Does anyone have a list of what decks would fit my tractor? I appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks, I have that info, I guess I wondered if there were other options. The 44C is listed for the 1541 which I thought the only difference between the two tractors was one is Briggs and the other is Kohler?
There is someone with a 324190 deck and he said it would fit on the 1641. I cannot find any information online to support this.

The 1541 has a small PTO and the 1641 has a large PTO besides the difference in engines.

The 324 is a 54" deck, it will fit but the 1641 doesn't have enough power to run it unless you just want to crawl. The 44C should work but you may need to swap the driven pulley from your existing deck to the 44C because the 1541 had the small PTO pulley and the 1641 has the large PTO pulley.

Edit: Looks like Mike and I were posting at the same time. LOL

Interesting, so if I wanted to use the 54" deck I would have probably needed at least a V18 engine? If I can't find a deck then it looks like I will need to buy a new to me tractor. I have always been a Cub guy but this 1641 has never been great, low on power, bad cut, horrible paint. Don't really want to go green but may have to, lol.

So...found a deck, pretty good paint, little rust and no holes. Upgrade to a 317190 48" deck, gave up $200, kid had the blower too but I already have one.
He's turning the tractor into a puller, so I told him I would buy what he had left when he's done. We shall see if he calls back in a month or so. His engine showed 1180 hours, not sure if that's low or high.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
