Homemade(ish) rear blade.
With my homemade rear lift, I wanted a rear blade to go with it. So I made one. The actual plow is a montgomery no trip blade. I used some square tubing and some rectangular tubing welded together as a mount. After using it today i was VERY happy how it worked. You can see how I used it to "back drag" gravel out.

Hey, if it works for what you built it for, it's all good.
It's good to be able to make something useful out of something you have laying around.

Update
When I have nothing to do, I go to the shop and do something. And that happened today. I decided to put some 1/4 in flat bar as a wear/blade edge on it. I also moved the lift linkage to an easier spot, making it so I can angle the plow. Too bad it is the beginning of a hot and humid summer, I want some snow pushin seat time!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
