J-Mech, I can assure you those hours were accurate, this is on a very large dairy where this tractor runs 12-14 hours a day seven days a week feeding cows. Their schedule is close to that of a factory running two shifts.

My highest hour "tractor" is my little 1330 LT.
Bought it new in 1992, and averaged 100 hrs a year, and used it up to 2010 when I started phasing in the GT's. It was the only tractor I could get on alone, so that was the primary grass cutter all those years. Now, Nancy boosts me on the tractors. Started with the 122, then the 782 which has 1100 hrs, then the 1650 with ???? hrs, and up to the 2372 for lawn duty. It had 1400 hrs on the old meter, but after the repower, I installed a new gauge, and am up to about 20. And ain't no way in he77 would I go back to the LT.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
