Default Unknown model, new owner

Hi guys, I am a new owner. Bought this little CC from an estate. Looks to be in very good condition. But the previous owner painted over all the model numbers of the tractor and mower. Based upon my research, I think it is a Model 106, but again I am not sure.

The deck is 42 inches, and has three spindles, 11, 22 and 11 inches.

Here is the tractor information that I have. It has a Kohler 10 hp engine, K241A. The tractor number on the back of the rear axle is 2050037U372285.

Thanks for all the help. John in northern VA

Nice 106 you have there.
By the grill and fenders it appears you have a narrow frame x6/7 series.
"X" being the horsepower.
"6 manual trans/7 hydro trans".

Kind code 0037 confirms it's a 106, congrats.

Looks like the steering column is from a 82 series.

Thanks all, now I can proceed to find all the belts I need and get this little beast back in the field. Great to finally know the model.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
