Okay, I'm new, now what?
So, I haven't done much on forums like this since I had to put a motor in my Kawasaki ZRX quite a few years ago. I love to tinker and work on things, so picked up a Cub 1110 hydro that is need of lots of TLC. Kind of wish I had more of a "tractor" cub, but this will be a good start for me. So just getting started, my name is Mark I live in Maryland (originally from NE Ohio), and I look forward to getting and giving a lot of useful information on here! Cheers!

First, welcome to OCC.........
The 1110 is a Lawn Tractor and when asking question, place them in that proper section. It is best, when asking or seeking advice, is to inquire about one thing at a time. After that issue is done to your liking, move on to the next item, so on and so forth. So, start with your first inquiry to include the Model & Serial number off the chassis tag.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
