2015 RZTS 54 FAB (Kohler)
After an oil+filter change, 2.1 quarts put it up to the full mark on the stick (right in line with what the manual says). Even though the oil level on the stick is right up to the full mark, the LCD panel always shows "low oil". Any one else see that on their similar model?
Also, there is a very small leak on the right-hand valve cover (after several multi-hour mowing sessions, the level on the stick has not changed - very small leak). It seems from reading around that factory gaskets are going by the wayside (some have said Cub Cadet reps have even discouraged customers from ordering their own gaskets!). So, would Permatex gasket maker be a good alternative? Thanks to all.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
