Default 1210 engine mount bracket question

https://www.partstree.com/parts/cub-...gine-mounting/

Trying to figure out which direction part number 7 is supposed to be facing. I had the engine rebuilt in my 1210 and I don't know if the guy bolted the mounting brackets to the engine the right way. It's hard to see in this pic but one end of that bracket is noticeably taller than the other end. Does the taller end go toward the front of the engine or the back? When bolted to the cradle on a level surface, the engine appears to be tilted up in the front and lower in the back.

I just redid the M12 in my 1204 and put the mounts taller side towards the front. I honesty wondered the same thing but figured that most engines need to be pitched down where the drive shaft connects. Didn't realize until after it was apart that they were pitched. Everything lined up perfect and I've got about 10 hours runtime so I'm assuming this is correct

Can't remember off the top of my head but I will check my 1211 when I get home.

What did cost to get it rebuilt, if you do not mind me asking.

It was about $130 for a rebuild kit from Ebay. It had a broken rod and spun crank so that engine work costed me about $275. It needed a new fuel pump which was about $90. It's nickel and diming me to death. Can't wait to get rid of it. I have an 1811 which is my workhorse.

Thanks for the replies. I got it in there after figuring which order everything went. It's been apart so long I forgot where everything goes and which order to put stuff together.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
