6 pin driver from MWSC??
3 pin drivers and 6 pin discs do not play well together. I have/had them in my 1000 and 1200 Both broke w/normal use in about a year. I'm going back to 3 pin discs, no more hot rod crap for me. |

My 128 has a 3 pin driver and a six pin disc and its fine, why would having 3 extra holes cause an issue?

You tell me. 2 different tractors, same result. The 2nd one is still in the tractor, a 1000 w/M-59 shredder/chipper.It's in my storage trailer at present, cant get pic's of it. This is the one from the 1200, it's one of my main mowers. New OEM disc should be here in the AM. |

Yes, both have new OEM style mounts and are smooth as silk, running, sounding and operating.
I DO NOT abuse my equipment if that is what you are inferring. Somehow, I knew you would. Furthermore, the holes that are broken out ARE NOT the ones that the 3 driver pins went through. |

I am curious, is your three pin driver the QL flex type or do you have the solid older version? The flex type is imperative when using iso mounts. Surprisingly, as smoothly as the QLs run with iso mounts, when adjusted properly do move all over the place and stresses the clutch assembly and drive line. The flex plates eventually fatigue and crack. I love QLs but do realize this is an idiosyncrasy with that series.
