Well, there has to be some order or format to it. Some one will get on there and leave a dissertation and/or a lengthy description.
Something like this..... This is just an example and NOT anything factual. The table can change to add more information.

I was hoping to avoid having one person handling it, i think members would be more likely to post the info themselves then take the time to pm me but it is your forum so we will do it your way. I will PM you later.

I don't know how hard this will be to do, but I like the idea, if its not going to cause someone a bunch of work. A concern of mine would be accuracy. What if whomever is loading info types in one # wrong, then we have an issue. I certainly can see where this whole idea would come in handy. I'm like most, I search and find my own aftermarket, but sometimes that can be slow go. If this gets off the ground, I'll try to support by supplying part #'s and sources to whomever is making the list and checking it twice.

I found this thread in the parts section. I was looking for cyclops wheel seals. I didn't find it there but I'm going to post that in another post. Maybe just sticky this thread and add to it or create a new one and sticky that.

I have created a "Sub Section" to the Parts Source Section for those that want to post Cross Reference part numbers.
We will see how it goes. If it turns out OK...then fine. If it turns out to be a massive problem, then I will delete it. ENJOY.

Thanks Roland, I think if members do their research before posting it will be a big help.

I take any suggestion to keep my fleet in mechanical order, this doesn't mean there is not a better suggestion or more up to date one out there, it is what it is! Good or bad as long someone take the time to share what he have found to help fellows here we should welcome his efforts!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
