Default Question about Deck Spindles 782?

Hi,

wish you all a happy new Year 2018 from Germany!!

Today, i have a Question to you. In ebay, i saw a Set of this Deck Spindles:

https://www.ebay.de/itm/1-Set-of-3-O....c100290.m3507

They have the same Look, as the Spindles of my 1772 with 50" Deck. My 782 Diesel have the same Deck, but the Spindles are an other Version.

Will this Set fit at the 50" Deck?

Thanks yery much,

mfg Georg

Georg:

On the 50C series mower decks, there were two version of bearings. The most common was the ST-745 sealed bearing. You can buy this as an Assembly or the Bearing alone. IH/Cub Cadet discontinued that part BUT it is available from aftermarket sources. One of our Sponsors CCSpecialties sells them both ways. See:... Mower Deck Parts

If you can't find the Part in Germany, CCSpecialties will ship to you.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
