Removing Hydraulic Lines -149
Is there anything special I have to do when I take the hydraulic lines off the transmission? Will fluid come out of them, and will it be under pressure? And after I take them off, do I have to plug the holes?

The relief valves on the top of the trans do not keep static pressure in the hydraulic system. Once the pump is off, the pressure is gone. No need to push on the buttons, even if they are there. That's not what they are for, or how they operate. No pressure is in the system once the pump is off.
I'm assuming that the lines are being removed for service? |
