K341 dipstick question

I have a cam cover dipstick for a k341 that does not sit in the "tube" very firmly. I can put it in but with a good tap will make it pop out of the hole, has anyone else had a similar problem? I'm worried it will pop out with the engine running and get chewed up by the cam gear

Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
