Default Local Garden Tractor Pull in Eastern PA

Hi all, I went to a car show today and they had about 10 GT's pulling. The cars were nice but here a few pics of the Cub pullers, from mild to semi wild. The wildest machine was actually "green."

Mike,
How was the pull? I was in Philly all weekend and couldn't attend. Did you find anything out about the club? How long did you stay? Are they having any other pulls in the near future? Jason

It was kinda small, less than a dozen tractors but half were Cubs. :biggrin2.gif:We stayed about 1 1/2 hours. I asked the one guy about a club but he said noone one was having luck organizing one. He said there were 75 tractors at Lazarus pig farm on Rte 248 on Saturday. It also seemed it would be just pullers. I sent you a pic of the 102 on your phone, from my phone. That was the most stock machine. He had a K301 in it, instead of the K241. Big AGs as seen in the first pic.

Mike,
Glad you enjoyed the pull, and nice to know that the CC's were well represented! That's weird about the club, the one guy I spoke with at Marzen's seemed to imply there was one, but maybe he was just confused. I didn't get the picture you sent to my phone (I didn't have a message either), but thanks for trying to send me one. Jason

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
