Default The 1782 is HOME,, Thanks OAK !!

Well, we went to pick up the 1782 this morning,, armed with chains, binders, cable pullers, tire pump, jumper cables,, etc,,,
we were expecting a fight to get the 1782 on the trailer,,,

I backed up the trailer to the tractor, hit the key to see if it would start,,
it cranked right up!! ,, Actually it started like it had been used the day before,,

I tried to drive it on the trailer,, it would not go up the ramps,,
the chains were spinning on the steel ramps.

We took off the chains, it went right on the trailer.

It is running in both pics,,,

We never saw a wisp of smoke,,
We pulled the tractor up to a wheel stop I had in the trailer, then, loaded the second Haban deck on behind the tractor,,
Literally, there was not 1/2" of extra length,,, the extra deck took the remainder of the trailer.

When we got home, we checked the fuel level, the tank was even full of clear fresh looking fuel.
The "clock" says it has 900 hours,,

Over the weekend, my son-in-law ordered EVERY filter from Amazon, they are due to be delivered today,, (I think he said there are six!!??)

He is excited, this is his 4TH tractor, but, it is the first one he has purchased,
the others came from his dad-in-law,,,,

Thanks OAK for posting about it,,

Who could ever guess there are still deals like this available!!??

Glad someone here got it. John has the market cornered now with the Habans, pretty sure this makes 3 that he has.

Couldn’t have been a lot of room on the sides either.
I had to buy a wider trailer because of a Haban.

Edit: I looked closer, it’s a plenty wide trailer.

That trailer is 78 inches wide inside,,
I hauled my Gravely with a 72 inch cut deck,, it had an inch to spare, but, the 6 foot cut deck did fit,,,

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
