2082 Super Garden Tractor

Hi , I just picked up a 2082 SGT last week and have a few questions about it.
First off its a one owner tractor always garaged kept and came with a 60" Haban deck # 190-374-100 installed on it from the factory and a snowblower Cub Model # 311-0045 195-364.
The original owner passed away last year and his son who sold it to me didn't know too much about it , other than in the blizzard of 93 he remembers his dad using the blower and it worked great, not sure if this was bought new or added later.
My question is this , the owners manual that came with it does not show the deck # or blower # to be used on this tractor, but the deck works great and mows like a dream. Were the parts modified to fit this tractor ??
I have not installed the blower yet but it spins freely and I see no issues why it should not work also.
Im still going over everything on the tractor to check for any problems , and have only found a small oil leak from the remote oil line that needs repaired. No cracks in the alum. rear mounts . but I did order the rear brace from extreme for peace of mind.
I am going to change all fluids and filters and do a good tune-up also before putting it to work.
Anything else I should look for ?

I didn't look up the Haban, but the 364 blower for sure was not meant for that tractor. It's made for ones with the smaller PTO. I am not sure if it had an adapter package to even be used with a SGT without looking, but I think it could be. The 364 was IH built.

I went to the book. Depending on SN of your tractor, both attachments may work.

Yes, the 364 blower did in fact have an adapter package for the SGT's. I thought it did... But I was concerned with the PTO diameter, which is relative to the SN.

Tractor SN# 800,000-821,000 has the smaller PTO
821,000 to 836,000 has the larger PTO.

Both those attachments are for the smaller PTO.

Thanks I forgot to add the tractor serial # 826260 Model # 142-732-100 and it does have a 6" PTO pulley on it now.

There you go. The attachments are meant for the smaller PTO.

That 364 blower is kind of a rare bird... especially if it has the adapter for an SGT.

Out of curiosity, what would be the problem with running a mower or snowblower a little faster?

Do the math. It's more than a "little" faster. It's several hundred RPM faster. They aren't designed for it. Why not run the motor at 4000 RPM instead of 3600 RPM? It's only a few hundred faster right? Well, because at about 4K the flywheels can explode. Known fact. Can't run things faster just because you want to. Oh, you can probably do it on the blower and the mower and they would be OK, but why risk it? Easy to change the PTO to the right one and you have no more issues.
