I would be reworking that air filter. That's not anywhere near large enough a filter to keep that diesel fed. It was barely big enough for the gas engines it was on.

I agree 100% with you on that. There are a few things I want to address sooner rather than later and that is one of them.

Default fuel tank

I have built a few custom tanks for the diesels, this one had a sleeve for the hydro welded in to the tank.

That looks really good Mike, I might have to borrow that idea.

I have a rough 1572 I planned on restoring in pieces right now. I could always use parts off of that but then I only have 1 super diesel and we all know 2 is better than 1.

It’s got cyclops fenders on it. Just use a cyclops tank.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
