Default Pricing out a 2182

Going to sell my 2182. It's just too big with a 60" deck and hard to maneuver with a smaller yard. It only takes me 15 min to cut the yard, but about 30 minutes to weed wack since I have so much to go around and there's places I can't get between obstacles. I've owned it 3 years, bought it with a house from the previous owner. He had a buffalo ranch so he had more property he used it on and bought it new. Even have the original manuals. I'd appreciate letting me know what a good starting point would be.
NOTE: Trying to upload pictures, the uploader isn't working very well, I will keep trying and they might be in an additional post.

Cub Cadet 2182, Kubuta 3 cyl gasoline, water cooled. Has 1429 hours. I put on about 10 hours a year.

Purchased in 2015 from the original owner when buying a home. Had 1403 hours.

Includes Haban 60" and 54" plow. Rear pto and 3 pt hitch.
Compression tested at 1408 hours, 185psi, 180psi, 185psi.
Winter of 2016, rebuilt front end with new front tires, new sealed wheel bearings, all 4 tie rod ends.
Installed new fuel filter, starter relay fix, upper and lower radiator hoses. Oil and filter changed.
Installed temp, voltage and oil pressure gauges. New steering cylinder, fittings and hoses. New seat cover
Removed rear end and pump due to cork gasket leak. Driveshaft removed and regreased.
Installed new cork gasket, drilled oil return holes in axle tubes.
New rear axle bearings, seals and gaskets.
New rear pto driveshaft couplings.
Had relief valves rebuilt. Relined brake pads.
In 2017, installed new deck wheels.
New kevlar mower belts.
Mower spindle bearings were replaced just prior to my purchasing the mower.
Power steering valve was rebuilt with new o-rings due to a leak.
Replaced one steel hydraulic line.
In 2018, 1429 hours, replaced front pto clutch with a unit from extreme. New battery.

You know what you paid for it, add what you have put into it.
I'd start there.
Should be worth more by now w/no more hours than you have put on it and considering what you have done with it..
If you were happy with it to start with I'm sure a new owner would be as well.

These machines are great,, but, not made of gold,

with all your recent upgrades being typical service needs, they add little to value.
A buyer expects a machine with tires, belts, and filters,,,,

Your local market will dictate the price,, but, $2K may be the high amount,,,

3PT hitch - $400
Basic 2182 w/60" deck - $900

$2000 seems fair and you have some room to negotiate. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the replies. I agree with what CAD said, they aren't made of gold, and most of the things I did would be considered maintenance and repairs. I think I have $1300 in parts I put in but I also was planning on keeping the machine a long time. I also don't like seeing a drop of oil on the garage floor, which is why I replaced the steering cylinder, cork gasket, relief valves, etc. Some people would be fine with letting things leak. Honestly if I were to get between $1500-$2000 I'd be happy with that. Sure I have more in it then that, but you can't price it by what you have in it.

The tractor is in Gladwin, Michigan. Quite a ways away from Wisconsin! I might see about bringing it home with me to Saginaw, but the problem is I don't have a trailer wide enough to fit the 60" deck. Last time I brought it home, I figured I'd remove the deck, load the tractor, and throw the deck in the trailer too. Then I went to lift the deck... I tried to just pick up one side of the deck, and did one of those things where you look around to see if it's somehow anchored to the floor... Needless to say, the deck will always be in Gladwin. lol. Now maybe two people could manhandle it into a trailer.

I purchased an XT1 46" which is better suited for my smaller lawn. People can be deceived so easily when it comes to engines. This XT1 has a kohler 22hp engine. The 2182 has a kubota 21hp engine. The kubota 21hp has so much more power than the kohler 22hp. I have a lawn sweeper that I back down a hill into the woods to dump. I really had to push hard on that XT1 to get it back up that hill. The 2182, I have to be careful not to push it too hard or the tires will break free and start spinning. The XT1 weighs about 550lbs. The 2182 with the deck weighs closer to 1500lbs. The 2182 will take off like crazy with power to spare. The XT1, well, it's ok, but it has to work. There's so much more than just HP. I think I'm going to put the 2182 for sale for $5000. That way I'll have to keep it and can tell the wife nobody wanted to buy it...
