I sometimes wondered if it all was worth it but after adapting the cab to my 1872 without and cutting, welding or drilling holes in either the cab or tractor I think it was a good trip. This post made me chuckle to myself. I was going to do something very very similar to what you WERE going to do...have an 1811 with no engine, 450 blower, GT Cozy Cab(took me 2 years to find a decent one), and a GT2550 with a 23hp Command to use as an engine donor to power it all. Just waiting for the time and ambition to put it all together.

THEN I found a very nice SGT Sims cab for my 2072...decided to buy it, and mount the Sims cab and 450 blower on the 2072, and sell the Cozy cab and GT2550.

Just recently sold the GT Cozy cab. Before I advertised it I took a few measurements to see how close it would come to fitting one of my supers, googled it to see if anyone had tried it but found nothing. So down the road it went. Glad to see someone make it work!! Enjoy your cab!

For now I am just touch up painting it with spray cans to make it look a little better and stop surface rust.

I searched for years trying to find a Sims cab for my 1872. When I ran across this Cab I wondered if it would fit but just thought I would build up a parts 782 I had and mount it on it. After getting it home I decided to see what it would take to put it on the 1872. It looks like it belongs on it and I saved my self a bunch of work swapping parts around.
