Default Florida Flywheelers Feb. 20-23

Going to be a good show this time around but always is anyway. Featured tractor is IH.

Guy I know there, who has bought several of mine to complete his collection, will have one of every model IH cadet there from original to 82 series. Hope to see you there!

Show is awesome this month, lots happening there. All the IH model cubs is something to see and my friends Ray and Tim have really put it all out there. Plus there is a new vendor from Indiania that came with cool hard to find items, recoil starts, weights, lifts, Brinley stuff, etc. hope this pic isn’t upside down. I picked up a few parts to complete some things, air filters etc. I’ll get some more pics but could take literally hundreds and not show everything its a big show. Had a guy handing out RPRU flyers today too for PA this year.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
