Need a part number for mule drive pulley on Cub 149/ 44" deck
I had a pulley bearing seize on me. It's a 1973 Cub 149 with the 44" deck. I did a search but only found NAPA cross references for the smaller deck pulleys with the "bumps" or rivets on the sides. Mine are smooth and yellow. Anyone know what a NAPA part number or Cub Cadet part number is for it? My tractor parts manual doesn't cover the deck and the owner's manual doesn't have parts diagrams.
Edit- I did some more clicking and it looks like Stens 280-188 is the replacement.

Thanks. I ordered a pair of the Sten's replacements for $15 each. Perfect match. They came primered so I shot them with some IH yellow iron guard and bolted them in. Back to mowing!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
