Default TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1

Got the following message when trying to log on
Enabled TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1
This got me on
Is there anything to worry about

Oz:

You are the first and only that I am aware of, to bring up this issue. I will copy & paste your post and send it to our Server Tech guy. See if he can shed some light on this.

Once I get a response, I'll get back with you.

Ah, sounds like a FireFox issue.

An internet search reveals.....

Quote:
..... enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for bold preferences starting with security. - right-click and reset those entries to their default values.....
BTW - I am using the new Brave Browser and have NO issues.

It is a NOT a Firefox issue, however it exists because Firefox has upgraded it's security levels in it's latest Version 74.0. Eventually, all brands of browswes will be upgraded because TLS 1.0 and 1.1 security levels are obsolete and will be abandoned. This site, OCC, is running on TLS 1.0 and 1.1 and is not secure. Click on the little padlock icon up there in the address bar and it will tell you that. The server here at OCC will have to be upgraded in the future to maintain internet standards.

Here is a link that explains it all, I would urge the moderators to become aware of this situation.....
https://hacks.mozilla.org/2020/02/it...0-and-tls-1-1/

By the way, If you did like me, and re-enabled TLS 1.0 and 1.1 in your newer Firefox Ver. 74.0, be aware that you lowered security for ALL web sites that you visit, not just OCC.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
