Cub Cadet 812 loader / 612 backhoe
Hello All. I’m new to the forum and have a question.
I have the above attachments and wondering what they are worth? The backhoe needs the boom and outrigger hydraulic lines replaced. Just the attachments would be for sale. I’m in Ohio. No welds or cracks. Buckets in good shape. Paint in good shape. Loader decals gone. I have them on a 7254. Thanks for any input. Matt |

From a search, I see one sold in a Proxibid auction for 1800$ onsite. So the person that bid it was there in person and likely paid that amount plus buyers premium. No idea what condition that one was in.
That auction was just for the hoe.

Here is one in an auction that started at 10$ and did not sell. Guess there was no one in the crowd with a 7000 series cub Scut that day. For 10 bucks I think I would have bought it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
