IH CC 782 Carb Question

My dad bought the 782 new. He used up up until his death in 1998. It sat up in a barn until I brought it over around about 15 years ago. After Dad’s death I used it a few times to cut the yard when I was visiting mom.

I thought this would have been an easy fix but the shops in the area do not want to work on old equipment.

Of course they don't, better if you buy new from them and some kids don't understand old tech or lack of it.
And looks like they not only didn't fix it, but lost/stole parts.

I agree. I am learning that lesson. So now, I am tinkering on his old stuff and trying to be a DYI.

Dad's old 1320 CC was condemned by a nearby CC shop who wanted to keep it for the junk pile and sell me a new one.

The cam plate was the problem and fixed it for $20.00 (thanks to Ebay). It runs very well now.
