Here's my 147 restoration video series. It might have a few things that will help you. These tractors are fairly simple machines, but you'd be amazed how fast you'll forget how things go back together. As far as the fluid change on the rear end, keep in mind that the carrier tubes (the two trumpet shaped housings that contain the actual axles) will retain quite a bit of old fluid even after you drain through the back cover. I've never tried it, but you might be able to raise each wheel in the air and dump the carriers out that way. If you don't see any leaks at the carrier gaskets you may want to leave them alone. I removed both sides and put in new gaskets.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
