Default Need to know difference in KT17 & 18 Magnum gov.rod

I bought a 20 HP Magnum engine with the small rod that connects the governor arm and throttle missing. Does anyone know if one off a KT17 HP will work as I have several of them. Thanks in advance.

A piece of coat hanger wire works well. Measure the distance and bend it up.

Yes you can use the kt17 rods, might have to adjust the gov arm, but prolly not.
I did not use the cub cadet parts look up to see if the part numbers match,
I'll let you do that.

It would be nice to Kmow the dimentions and shape of an original one. I could make one if I knew.

The picture of the correct one in the book and the one that is actually on the KT17 are different. I'm sure they have different p/n's. Thanks for responding.
