3000 Series Quick Attach Same as Deere QA?
I have a 3240 with the quick attach front for plow, blower, etc. and I'd like to know if the John Deere quick attach (presumably for X500 and X700 series) implements would also mount on the Cubs? They look very similar. Two internet images below for reference.

With a welder/torch and other necessary tools, one can make anything fit.
Fellows have have been putting chevy engines in everything since '55 I would suggest to sell the Deer stuff as it usually commands a good price, and purchase the bolt on cub stuff. |

I wondered the same thing a few weeks ago and measured them both. I was dealing on a used CC 3185 and wasn't able to wright the numbers down.
On my CC the inner spread in between the steel is about 19.75 inches and the distance from the top rod to the locking pin is about 9.5 inches. On the new Deere x7xx that I measured in the showroom was something close to 12 inches spread and 7 inches on the pins. Also the positioning appears slightly different. I will be investigating this further as I think some plywood to fill the space with strategically drilled holes may do the trick. I would like a rotary broom and Deere is about the only option that's a close fit. Not sure on the pto placement fitment.

Having trouble attaching a photo. If you look at a CC snow blower for a 3000 series the impeller will fit in between the quick hitch. If memory serves the Deere blower for a x700 series mounts in front of the hitch and the spread is to narrow for the impeller to fit in between.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
