How much seat time is everyone getting on the trusty old cubs. This past couple weeks I have had probably about 6hrs of quality cub time. Past couple days we have have warm weather and rain which melted 90% of the snow away. Weather guy is calling for 12" + in the next few days. Looks like I better gas up all the snow removal equipment.

None at present...I don't even have the snowthrower or snowplow mounted on them yet. Have to do a little surgery on the 149 before the thrower can go on. Wish we were getting that much snow.

just got about 12 to 14 inches of snow and a lot of wind. took about six hours total to clean out pathways and pasture. just got the qa42a on the 123 and this was really the first time movin some good snow. and after painting the inside of the thrower housing and chute, man...this thing can throw some snow. i get about 15 to 20ft. it doesnt really matter if its light snow or drifted packed snow. you get her pullin on the governer just right and she can throw. and the hydro works great for snow throwin. only real trouble i had was the throttle cable freezing on me.

None. We got 5 inches of snow over the weekend, but the 40 mph winds pretty much put it only in drifts, none of which are big enough for the blower to be fired up.
However, it is -10 with the wind chill, so I am not exactly disappointed. |

Not as much as I would like. I have my 86 with the 42 inch blade and then my 4wheeler with a 60 inch blade. I takes 15 minutes to do my drivway with the wheeler and 45min to an hour with the 86. And I'm usually in a hurry so the cubs sit awhile lol

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
