New member from southern Indiana
Hi folks.
New here. Technically not new to CC but will be getting my first soon. My old JD STX38 is pretty much falling apart and I'm tired of fixing it. So my Dad is giving me his old AGS2140 that I basically grew up cutting grass on. He's had it since like 20hours on it at almost new. Trans has always been treated well and fluids constantly changed. Dad always told my brother and I about the trans is basically an on off switch. It's basically been sitting for the last several years. I plan on putting the hood back together and giving it a good cleaning. Currently has 719 hours. I am curious because I've been researching the model and adjacent models. Was wondering if it'd be possible to swap the HDS2145 trans into my 2140? Dad does still have the grass catcher for the 2140.
