Two years since last post
Good morning to all it has been two years since my last post. Most of which was due to health issues, as well as other curve balls life throws at you.
This past weekend was the first time I was in my Cub shop in a long time. Since my last post I did sell my 1772, 1872, and 2072 plus a lot of parts and some implements. I started in the Cub world over 10 years ago with about $4000. After buying and selling over 25 supers and related items I ended up with a smidge over $24000. With that I bought my wife a C5 Z06. I still have my 1572 which I am debating whether I want to sell or not. I just removed the 3 point and rear PTO and am going to sell it along with the rest of the stuff I have left, bumpers, hub caps, implements etc. I might keep the 15 as it has all the diesel upgrades drive shaft, starter, glow plugs etc. It seems these supers are getting scarce. I used to buy 4 or 5 a year. I just looked and could not find a decent one for sale near me anyway. I do miss being involved in the cub world and the forum. It sure has been a crazy couple years given the politics and pandemic. I hope all the members are doing great wish you all well in the future.

I just read my post boy do I sound like an ass. It sounds like I'm trying to sell stuff an bragging about the vette. Neither are true I'm not selling anything if I do I will post in the proper for sale thread. I was not bragging I'm just amazed how on my quest to get very nice examples of all the 72 series supers I was able to keep upgrading and end up with so much. I was going to take the wife to Italy but then I was unable to go and then covid. Her first car was a1974 vette her father gave her and she mentioned often how she would like another thus the Z06. I just wanted to check in and reconnect with some old friends and enemies ( kidding) on the forum.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
