Thick Carb Base gasket 18 hp?
My tractor is an 1863, (143-664-100).
I have ordered a reman carb. They sent it with a thin gasket. gasket.jpg I need one about 1/4 inch thick because the throttle link hits the manifold before WOT. Reason I know it is that thick is I stoled one off my other 18hp kohler  Do I make a spacer or is there a gasket available? According to the Cub Cadet Parts Lookup Site, you will need Base Gasket (#3) which is KH-24-041-17.
You could cross reference if we knew the Model & Spec number on your Kohler Engine.

The Kohler web site says: KH-24-041-17-S.
Basically the same as the CC site.

The Gasket arrived today. It is the thick one I need. 1/4 inch was a ruff guess  I was 0.080" shy This is the thick gasket I need thou, Maybe this will help someone else. Picture with thickness and part# carbgasket.jpg
