Default Where do I post this?

Is there a proper place to post what I think is a good price on tire chains for Cub Cadets with (26x12x12) tires? I got a message yesterday that claimed a 17% discount on this size as I had put them in my cart at Amazon nearly two years ago. The discount priced a set at 64.99 before tax and free shipping at Amazon. That is a considerable price rise from my last set 4 years ago at $39.00 w/free shipping on eBay and $32.00 2 years before that. If you know of a sweeter deal, please share it with us.

This inflation is killing the hobby. CC trans filters are up around 25%, and hytran is also up ~50%.

8.5% is criminally low -- at least for what I buy.

bought a set of chains for some smaller rear tires and they were 32 dollars shipped, a week later they went up to 59.

There is no way, no way the CPI index is under 10. More like 25.. If it was being figured the same way as the late 70's, we are experiencing the worst inflation in modern times.

So, is $28 a gallon for the Case/IH Hy-tran a good price now? I just bought it last week for the 682.

8.5% is the biggest crock I've ever seen. I figure my personal inflation around 28-32% depending on the week, how much fuel I burn, etc.

Probably not bad from the dealer. I think F&F's generic buckets went up almost exactly 50% from last summer.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
