1250 serial # question
i picked up an old 1250 for free (missing the wheels/tires, motor has busted rod thats why it was free) but i am confused on how to read the serial # to find the year and other info about it, i've looked at other posts about serial #'s but still makes no sense to me LOL.. anyway here is the # on mine if anyone knows how to read them, and can tell me what the #'s mean.

205 is used for IH made Cub Cadets(Garden Tractors)

thanks everyone... On July 4, 1976, the United States of America celebrated the 200-year Bicentennial.
too bad this one isn't a special model in july to celebrate the 1776 bicentennial, but at least mine was made then so i think i'll try to save the ol girl and get her back up an running. i have a youtube channel i'll be filming of this tractor is anyone is interested in watching, i have lots of other videos of machines i have fixed. just search for messin with mike |
