You did good. The rear PTO is $600 alone if it has it. If it does have rear PTO then it will have a cat 0 hitch which will be worth another $400-$450. But, some people think that the rear output shaft of the hydro is a rear PTO but it's not. Congrats on your purchase.

It has the 3 point hitch and just feeling it has the rear PTO, the splines. Oil is clean used, engine turns over. Talked to local CC John Labuda might be cam related. Now to get engine off for look see. I'm busy. Wife passed away in August, 42 yrs now I need to do more yard work. I get tired easier now. Thanks to all. Bob.

Looking on Craig's list Friday. See a plow for a super Cub for sale. Guy wants rid of it. Just got it tonight. It's never been assembled, new with instructions, a 54". I was floored when he said, I want $100.00 for it.

Holy moly, great deal on that plow. I picked up a super last fall, bear bones. Bought a green and yellow plow to modify and put on, the next day. The proper Hydraulic plow became available. I drove an hour and a half to pick it up for a couple of hundred bucks. It needed some welding and new hoses, but still a great deal, I thought. Those 54" are hard to come by around here.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
