Garden harvest 2022
How's the gardens doing this year? Lets see some pics.
Here's a pick of my trusty ole Farmall 100 that I lay my rows out with. IMG_2930.jpg Planted potatoes the first week of March. IMG_2870(1).jpg I got them in and then we had a frost that knocked them back a little. IMG_2871.jpg But they recovered and started doing well. pic.jpg IMG_3137.jpg Dug them up in late June. Now I got taters out the wazoo. IMG_3209.jpg

Planted some of my corn on April 22nd.
Corn 2022-2.jpg I had poor germination rate this year and only about 60% came up. I never had that happen before but the seed this year was not treated for some reason. Maybe that is why. IMG_3134.jpg On July 8th I picked a bucket load and will go pick some more today. IMG_3266.jpg IMG_3267.jpg

Cool Oak I love garden pics. I marvel at seeing a harvest when it's only July.
Great looking spuds and corn. We are just starting to see the veg take off. Feeling lucky to still have our warm crops as it was 33 and 32 on consecutive mornings last week. In 80s now though so off we go. Here is the garden as of today. Ken DSCN2222.jpg DSCN2223.jpg DSCN2226.jpg DSCN2227.jpg |

Oak,
You are about 1 month ahead of us here in Eastern Iowa Planted most everything but 2nd planting of corn on May 19. 2nd corn plant about 2-3 weeks later. 200 hills total corn and the same for spuds which are now blooming and fighting off the damn Colorado beetles and Japan beetles |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
