Ottumwa workers shocked after John Deere announces production shift to Mexico.

John Deere announced it's moving mower conditioner production from its Ottumwa plant to a Hay & Forage mower factory in Monterrey, Mexico.

Currently, Deere employs 800 workers at its Ottumwa plant. An estimated 80 production and 10 salaried employees work in the mower conditioner department.

Too many folks looking for a $30+/hr job.
Problem is....sadly....many only have a $10/hr work ethic and they can get that by sitting home on their butts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
